Public site HaveIBeenFlocked lets drivers check whether agencies searched their license plate

A website called HaveIBeenFlocked allows drivers to enter a license plate number and see whether agencies using Flock's automated license plate reader network ran searches on it, drawing on audit logs obtained through public records requests. The tool does not show whether a vehicle passed a Flock camera or what a camera captured, only searches performed by agencies. The site says the most commonly listed search reasons involve drugs, followed by motor vehicle theft, and that entered plate numbers are not stored.

Why this matters

Agency audit logs are one of the few public windows into how ALPR systems are actually queried, and third-party tools built on those records shift some oversight capacity from agencies to the public.
